Connect your ad accounts

PACKED runs open house campaigns from your own Meta and Google ad accounts — you keep ownership, billing and every audience you build.

You stay the owner

We're added as a partner or manager. Remove access any time in one click.

No passwords shared

Access is granted through Meta and Google's own permission systems — never by handing over a login.

About 10 minutes

Meta takes ~6 minutes, Google ~4. You only do it once per brokerage.

Connect Meta Business Manager (Facebook + Instagram)

Required for Feed, Stories, Reels and Marketplace placements, plus custom audiences from your uploaded contact lists.

  1. 1

    Open Meta Business Manager

Sign in with the personal Facebook profile that administers your business page. If you don't have a Business Manager yet, create one — it's free and takes about two minutes.

    business.facebook.com
  2. 2

Confirm you have an ad account

In Business Settings → Accounts → Ad Accounts, make sure an ad account exists with a valid payment method. Copy the ad account ID (it looks like act_1234567890) — you'll paste it into PACKED.

    Business settings → Ad accounts
  3. 3

    Add PACKED as a partner

Business Settings → Users → Partners → Add → 'Give a partner access to your assets'. Enter the PACKED Business ID shown in your onboarding email, then assign your Ad Account and Facebook/Instagram Page.

    Business settings → Partners
  4. 4

    Grant the right permissions

On the ad account choose Manage campaigns (full control). On the page choose Create content, Manage ads and View performance. PACKED never needs finance or admin ownership.

  5. 5

    Connect Instagram

Business Settings → Accounts → Instagram accounts → connect the professional Instagram account tied to your page. Without this, Reels and Stories placements are skipped.

  6. 6

    Finish in PACKED

Come back to Campaigns → Ad accounts, click Connect Meta, approve the permission screen and pick the ad account and page you just shared.

What PACKED does once you're connected

  • Builds the open house campaign, audiences and creative from your listing.
  • Uploads your CSV/Excel audience as a Meta Custom Audience and Google Customer Match list.
  • Runs geo-radius and lookalike targeting around the property, paused automatically after the event.
  • Reports cost per registration and cost per check-in back into your PACKED reports.

The four most common snags

"You don't have permission to add a partner"
You're a page admin, not a Business Manager admin. Ask whoever created the Business Manager to give you Admin access under Users → People.
Meta partner request never appears
Check that you pasted the Business ID (a 15-16 digit number), not the page name. Requests expire after 30 days — ask us to resend.
Google link request pending forever
Only account Admins can approve link requests. Tools → Setup → Account access → Managers, then look under the Invitations tab.
Ads rejected for housing discrimination policy
Real estate ads run under the Special Ad Category. PACKED sets this automatically — but your ad account must have accepted Meta's non-discrimination certification once, under Business Settings → Business Info.

Connection didn't work? Let's fix it together

Almost every failed connection comes from a permission setting inside Meta or Google — not from PACKED. We read the error automatically — or tell us what you saw and we'll walk you through the exact clicks.

Export this as a support-ready report

Bundles the detected error, the fix steps you've ticked off, and the last verification result into one plain-English write-up. Copy it, email it to us, or paste it into ChatGPT/Gemini to be coached through the fix.

Still stuck after trying the steps?

Send us a screenshot of the error plus your ad account ID (Meta act_… or the Google 10-digit Customer ID). A PACKED specialist will screen-share and finish the connection with you — included in your plan, no extra cost.
